Cancellation Policies

 

We hope that you never have to cancel a trip, but unfortunately sometimes life throws us a curve and we have to adjust.  We request that when you sign up for one of our workshops that you read our cancellation policy, which we will provide to you, for that workshop.

 

Short Workshops that we sponsor ourselves: 

 

For these workshops, the entire fee is due at the time of registration.

 

For cancellations within 72 hours of the starting time of the workshop, we regret that we cannot refund your workshop tuition however we will give you a 50% credit of the workshop fee toward any workshop that we sponsor within the following year.

 

No shows who do not notify us they are not attending will not receive a refund. 

 

US Workshops/Field Trips that we sponsor ourselves:

 

For these workshops, a retainer is due at the time of registration and the balance is due 45 days prior to the workshop.

 

Unless you are notified differently, your retainer and any balance you may have paid is refundable in full up to 45 days prior to the workshop.

 

If you must cancel within 45-16 days of a workshop, we regret that your retainer cannot be refunded, however, we will apply 50% of the amount to any workshop you may desire to attend within the next year. Payment in excess of the retainer will be returned.

 

If you must cancel within 15 days of the workshop, we reserve the right to retain a portion in excess of the retainer if we have costs that we cannot recover.

 

No shows who do not notify us they are not attending will not receive a refund. 

 

In the unlikely event that a workshop must be cancelled for unforeseen reasons, we will, of course, refund all fees paid. We cannot however, be responsible for any other expenses you may have incurred.

 

International Workshops: 

 

These vary from workshop to workshop due to costs that cannot be recovered. The companies we work with on our International trips have very specific cancellation policies. Please refer to the brochure for each workshop for the policy that applies.

 

 

Workshop Fee Increases

 

We will do our utmost to keep to the prices that are published. 

 

Should increases be forced upon us by airlines, exchange rates, sharp rises in fuel prices, etc. we reserve the right to apply a small surcharge not to exceed 10%.

 

Some of our international workshops have a small group surcharge to cover fixed costs when the group is small.  If this is the case, it will be stated in the workshop brochure.
