Cory Photography with Tom and Pat Cory
What We Do
And What Our Clients Say
Our goal is to provide adult photographers with both an enjoyable and educational photographic experience, whatever your level of expertise in traditional or digital photography. Your enthusiasm for photography and your interest in our topics are far more important than your level of experience. We take our role as instructors seriously and our emphasis is on your photography, not ours.
Our workshops are small and typically consist of instruction wih slide shows and demonstrations followed by time for you to photograph. We are there to help you while you practice your skills. While striving to help our participants to improve their photography, we also feel strongly that photography should be fun. We emphasize the creative aspects of photography as well as the technical side.
We want to make your workshop experience as enjoyable as possible. We do ask that you be in reasonably good health and enjoy the companionship of small groups.
We appreciate that many of our clients return to join us for other workshops.
While we are no longer scheduling photo tours here’s what some of or clients have said about their experiences:
Some workshops are informative, some in interesting locations, and some have photographers that can relay information well. Few that I’ve had experience with manage to have all three. Yours was one.—Don
I had a very enjoyable time in Utah and Colorado. As usual the Cory Photo Workshop was fantastic.—Bob
Please send the recipe for your chocolate chip cookies. We had a great time and enjoyed the seminar. Thanks for a good day. We both felt like guests in your home rather than as members of a seminar audience.
The program was great and the slides and prints were just outstanding.
Thank you for an great trip. Your planning and follow through were excellent - you made it seem effortless and that let all of us concentrate on our photography. I will recommend you to others, and I hope to take another trip with you.—Curt
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and Tom for those early years of my photography training. You let me ask "stupid" questions and never were arrogant or impatient with me. This year Lynda and I will photograph 38 weddings, plus several commercial jobs, and most all the needed stuff for our magazine. You have played a real part in that success, and again I say "Thank You."—Ernie
